One of my favorite people, whether i Side with what he says or not is Bill Maher, he made some statements about 9/11 and gotten himself fired from ABC. The Great People at HBO took the chance to hire Bill Maher now he has one of the best damn talk shows of all time, plus he can say what he feels im pretty sure thats suppose to be under the First Amendment. Which brings me to Steven A. Smith, people liek him are necessary for other people to look in the mirror, and again whetehr i agree with what he sayin or not, this is his strong opinion on matters that matter, rather than any idiotic celebrity nonsense such as their offspring or what clothes or sneakers they are wearing. He usually gets to the Lowest common denominator before he speak abotu the incidents at hand, thus the blame is spreaded equally if not toward the person that hasnt gotten blame. Although it very controversial to say the least, he speaks what other dare not to. He definitely offended me on many occasions but it was only because he forced me to look at myself, my surrounding, the way i live the way a talk, the way i see myself in my eyes instead of what the masses would interpret me as. even thought i disagreed with him at the time, he was 100% accurate. When a current event happens, i do look forward to seeing his opinion on the matter, not just based on his views but also his research and other knowledge about a particular situation that i might have at the moment. In Conclusion, i would like to say to anyone that pays attention, if HBO worked for Bill Maher, then I think It would do the same justice for Steven A. Smith, i would tune into that show and be a die hard fan just as i am with Bill Maher.
